Blog in Progress

Hello, This blog is a blog in the making. If you have come upon it somehow, please come back soon. I love music. Sometimes my taste is that of a critic and sometimes that of a consumer. What does that mean? It means that I understand and appreciate what makes music good and influencial yet at the same time I can love to listen to a duet with Meat Loaf and Celine Dion while at the same time hating it. In other words, Stevie Wonders, "I just Called To Say I Love You", is deep in anybody's brain makeup if they lived in the 80's. I personally loved the song (emphasis on past tense) now I have a strange fondness for it (I was very young) however, I hate that it was Stevie Wonder that performed it. Not that he wasn't good but it is similar to hearing that Sting is labeled adult contemporary...it makes me sad. Kind of like the Clash covering a carpentars song and not with a Clash arrangement. My point is, I wanted to share my collection, my favorites, new stuff, and to hear what other people are listening to and why they like it and what they are discovering. There is more work to be done. More links I want to find. And a lot of albums I need to list. So be patient and keep checking for a full launch. I'm no expert, I just love music. Cory
